Many members feel that the 2 day Member-Guest Tournament is the most fun tournament of the season. It is very competitive, but the competition is kept in perspective in a fun atmosphere.
This is our chance to show off our great golf course to our friends, relatives and business associates. The dates of the 2013 tournament is June 22rd and June 23rd with a practice round and skins game on June 21st.
The format of the tournament is five – 9 hole matches, played against teams in your flight. Flights are determined by the member and his guest’s handicap, so you will be playing your matches against teams of similar golfing ability. Each team is given 1 point for each hole won, with an additional point given for winning the 9 hole match. The winners of each flight, move onto a shoot-out, in which each team goes out at the same time to a hole-by-hole match.
After Friday's practice round there will be Snacks and Beverages available on the HCC deck.
